Q3. What are the import regulations for Paraguay?

Vehicles with the steering wheel on the right can be imported, but once they enter the country, the steering wheel must be changed to the left. The vehicle must be less than 10 years old. If it is older than that, a legal remedy (Recurso de Amparo) is required. Vehicles can be imported as casual as long as the manufacturing date does not exceed 10 years.

Puerto Ceregral via land through Iquique. Ports: Fenix, San José, Puerto Seguro, Caacupemi directly to Paraguay via Uruguay.

Q5. How to buy cars from auctions?

You will receive an agreement for the auction which must be signed. Our staff will provide all the necessary information for the application.

Q6. When can I use the online auction service?

Once your payment is registered, you can use it any day.

Q7. What is the approximate time for the vehicle to arrive at its destination?

Once you make the payment for your vehicle, the transfer from country to country takes 3 days for the payment to reach SBT's account. Once the monetary process is verified, we start the space request process with the shipping company. We cannot set shipping dates as shipping companies handle that process. Be cautious with this point.

Export Certificate [in Japanese and English]
Invoice (original and notarized)
Import carnet as consignee. For vehicles over 10 years old, a legal remedy (Recurso de Amparo) is required.

You can import vehicles with right-hand drive. Once the vehicle enters the country, it must be converted to left-hand drive and be less than 10 years old. If it exceeds 10 years, it must have a legal appeal (Recurso de Amparo) for entry. Vehicles within 10 years of manufacture can be imported as casual.
